1. Quotation Validity
All transport quotations provided by Judge Haulage are based on the collection and delivery details, item descriptions, weights, dimensions, quantities, handling requirements, and access information supplied by the client. Quotations remain valid for 14 days from issue and are subject to vehicle availability at booking confirmation.
2. Cargo Accuracy & Load Description
Clients must supply accurate descriptions, dimensions, and weights for all goods. Judge Haulage will not accept hazardous (ADR), illegal, prohibited, or stolen items. If the goods exceed the allocated vehicle's legal payload or differ substantially from the quoted description, we reserve the right to refuse transport and applicable cancellation charges may apply.
3. Access & Site Conditions
The client is responsible for ensuring that collection and delivery premises have safe, legal, and sufficient access for the allocated vehicle, including height, width, weight, parking, loading, and turning constraints. If the vehicle cannot safely access the location because of inaccurate information, blockages, or unsafe conditions, waiting or cancellation fees may apply.
4. Loading & Offloading
Loading and unloading assistance is included only where stated in the quotation, such as an agreed man & van booking. For other services, the collection and delivery locations must provide suitable personnel or equipment unless tail-lift, pallet-truck, or additional handling support has been agreed in advance. Waiting charges may apply when the allocated time is exceeded.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection time will be subject to a cancellation charge covering driver dispatch costs and routing loss.
6. Liability & Insurance
All transport is carried out under industry standard Goods in Transit insurance terms. Our liability is limited to cargo values declared and verified in writing prior to transit dispatch.
